Are Cruise Points valid on all ships?
Your Cruise Points are redeemable on all ships within the World's Leading Cruise Lines including Carnival, Costa, Cunard, Holland America, Princess, Seabourn & Windstar.

Which cruise itineraries can be booked with my Cruise Points?
Through the Carnival Vacation Club, Cruise Points can be used for all itineraries, such as Alaska, Mexico, The Bahamas, Caribbean and more.

Can Cruise Points be used for all accommodations onboard?
Cruise Points can be redeemed for any stateroom accommodations including balcony staterooms and suites.

When will my Cruise Points expire?
Cruise Points will expire on the date your membership expires. You need to book and sail before the term of your membership expires.

Do I pay government taxes and fees when I use my Cruise Points?
Cruise Points may be used towards cruise fare, port, government taxes and fees.

Can Cruise Points be utilized to pay for other Carnival purchases?
Cruise Points can only be utilized for booking cruise accommodations. Cruise Points may not be utilized for onboard purchases, transfer services, insurance, pre- and post-cruise hotel accommodations, Cruise Tours or air transportation.

Can my friends and family receive onboard CVC benefits?
Onboard Carnival Vacation Club benefits are available to all travelers utilizing Cruise Points.

How many cruises can I take with my Cruise Points?
That depends on your level of stateroom, destination and length of cruise.

When researching Cruise Point cruises, is it possible that the cost may fluctuate?
Cruising Industry pricing fluctuates for a variety of reasons and may impact the necessary amount of Cruise Points required to book a cruise.

Do friends and family get special pricing on purchase cruises?
Your Carnival Vacation Membership offers your friends and family the best available rate.

Can I use my Cruise Points for friends and family?
Yes, however, if you are not traveling with your friends and family, a $99 Cruise Transfer fee will apply.

Why don't I receive my air schedule when I book cruise air?
The air schedules are provided at the same time the cruise line releases them.

When do I get my documents? When do I receive a confirmation and/or tickets?
Receipts are issued within 14 business days of purchase. Documents are shipped directly from the cruise line 3 to 7 days prior to sailing.

When do I receive Priority debarkation luggage tags with my documents?
You will receive your Priority debarkation tags onboard the night before debarkation.

What kind of paperwork do I need? How do I obtain paperwork for someone who is handicapped?
Medical documentation is required; contact Carnival Vacation Club member services for further information.

Why can I not access the website?
You must activate your membership to access the website. Please consult your Navigation guide on activation procedures.

How do we get priority embarkation when we are a CVC member on our Carnival cruise?
Carnival Vacation Club members enjoy a separate VIP check-in booth at all ports of embarkation. The VIP line is designated by a VIP sign and allows for members to check in quickly and efficiently. Please remember to carry your Carnival Vacation Club member card while traveling on Carnival Cruise Lines so that you may identify yourself as a Carnival Vacation Club Member.

How do I get my onboard benefit if I purchase a cruise through my Travel Agent?

How do I access my Golf and Hotel Savings Program through Access?

Why is the price the same online as it is from CVC?
Carnival Vacation Club offers the best available rate.

Why do multiple charges occur for the same cruise?
You will see two or three charges appearing on your billing statements. The first charge will be from OVC, your cruise fulfillment center. The second charge will be from the cruise line. If you purchase insurance, the third charge is from Travel Guard.

Why does it seem that if I pay cash there is a better deal than at 25 cents a point?
The value of your Cruise Points is based upon a bundled membership which sets the value at 17.5 cents.

How do I redeem my Free 7 night Luxury Resort Stay?
Call Carnival Vacation Club Member Services.

Why are the resorts I want not available on the dates I want?
Peak season availability is limited. It is best to have several different dates and destination options when booking your resort stay.

How often is the resort selection updated so we can use our $299 resort certificates?
Daily.

Can I combine my $299 resort certificate with my free resort certificate so I can have my whole family go with me?
No, these are non-combinable and non-transferable.

Would I be able to fly first class with our free air vouchers if I pay the amount due?
Yes, as long as the airfare meets the terms and conditions of the certificates.

Why am I unable to use my air voucher for international flights?
Terms of Certificate do not apply to international flights.

Why can't CVC book my 2-for-1 air certificate for me?
These are fulfilled through airlines promotions. Call 866-241-3273 x231 for additional information regarding your air certificates.
